Hand Analysis with Suki Bahra
Suki Bahra has been fascinated by hands from an early age after visiting a palmist in India. Over the years she has read 100's of hands for a range of individuals and corporate clients including lawyers, bankers and celebrities.
Hand analysis is a neglected ancient art and is sometimes mistaken for fortune telling which it is absolutely not! The hands, in fact, provide a "gateway to the soul".
The hands are an amazing insight tool. Your own hands will tell their own unique story. Take a look at them. What do you see?
Each individual's hands have their own special landscape - the mounts, the lines, the length of the fingers, the way the "digits" are positioned - ie the fingers) and a person's fingerprints all contain information about human experience and potential.

The Hands are Miraculous

did you use them for?
The hands are miraculous - we usually take them for granted and do not see how invaluable they are to us. We only miss their use should something happen to them - actually like a lot of other things in life!
Other simple things about hands give us intuitive feel for a person - a common one if the hand shake of a person, or how people position their hands whilst they are talking. It falls very much into the study of body language.
These are everyday things.
We live in age of information overload - newspapers, books, Internet and advertising. So much visual information is available to us. What I have found very interesting in the study of hands is that if I ask people to describe the palms of their hands or other aspects of their hands without looking at them, they really struggle to tell me.
This is really interesting, as it the hands that are attached to us from the moment we are born and the most used part of us.
Aristotle called the hands the "Organs of Organs, the Instruments of Instruments".

History of Palmistry/Hand Analysis
Some people mistake palmistry/hand analysis for fortune telling which it is not.
All of you are creatures of free will and no one can say for certain what your future will be. Yet the lines, the shape of your hands, fingers and colour does suggest information about your character and nature.
Hand analysis is a neglected ancient art that is seeing a re-emergence. As once a subject of serious study around the world. It was apparently part of the university curriculum in the European middle ages and it is the subject of one of the world's earliest known books. Aristotle studied it as did Alexander the Great. We are not quite sure where it originated. Most likely in the East such as India and China. It has also used by several cultures including the Greeks and the Vikings.
How Does Hand Analysis Work?
Hand analysis is based on the assumption that the structure of the hand and the interrelations and correspondences of its components - palm, finger, lines, mounts are connected with a person's psychological make up and also with the nervous system.

There is, in fact, a consistent correlation between the way a person thinks and acts and hand morphology. This correlation makes hand analysis a very useful mirror for self-understanding and also a guidance tool for growth and transformation.
There are many other body parts that reveal information about a person - e.g. the ear, the eye, the shape of the face and the head. The hand is the most detailed, reliable and accessible area for this kind of analysis. This is partly due to the fact that there are a disproportionate number of nerve endings in the hands and that our hands received the most neural connections in the cerebral cortex.
Having studied 100s of hands Suki has discovered that
no two sets of handprints are exactly the same. They can be
classified into types and grouped together by similarities,
but they can never represent anyone but the person to whom
they belong. We are born with a certain set of lines, we
build others and yet others appear and disappear over time.
We make the changes occur. We can deepen for example our
fate line by acting responsibly, give definition to
fertility lines by having children or even create new lines
from the actions we take.
Since our hands are so intimately involved in everything that we think and do, the hand in this light is an organ of knowledge, consciousness and communication.
What do you look for in a hand analysis
When studying hands the things to look at are both hands, the similarities and differences between them will reveal a great deal.
The lengths of the fingers, finger leanings and spacings, flexibility, fingertips, the shape of the nails, texture and temperature of the skin, thickness of the "mounts" of the palm all give information concerning unique attitudes, beliefs, judgements, habits and special perceptions that a person brings into his or her life.
There are four main lines in the hand. They come from four directions. The fate line, head line, heart line and life line.
Lines do change as mentioned earlier. It is interesting to take a look at your hands and over time to see what lines have changed.
You are unique, you are special and you were born with your own natural brilliance.
It is all in your hands, with your own unique landscape.
